I just came back from spending a weekend in Seattle and wow! I was pleasantly surprised by the infamous cold and rainy city. I usually always prefer to travel to warm destinations, but Fiancé had a work trip scheduled, so I decided to go along for the ride. To my surprise, the Emerald City quickly became one of my new favorite cities to visit! While in town, I traveled solo during the days to explore some of Seattle’s top attractions and foodie spots.
Living in California has definitely brought out my desire to eat healthy and fresh. There’s really no excuse not to here; the soil in California can grow just about any fruits and vegetables known to mankind. There’s fresh produce and seafood available everywhere. I’ve quickly realized that there are a few foods that you can find on just about every corner: sushi, poke bowls and my new favorite snack – açaí bowls!
